Raised in Southern California, entrepreneur and medical marijuana edible guru Samantha Czubiak grew up immersed in the marijuana industry. Three years later, with countless awards, and a team of 20 employees, Czubiak is once again taking the industry by storm with the launch of her latest company, Hora Skin Care, available in California.
The collection embodies everything Czubiak looks for in her personal skin care and includes her favorite active ingredients which surfaced for specific care needs. “I combined all my favorite “super” ingredients into one product, an end-all serum, as I like to call it,” says Czubiak. “Beauty and health have been huge topics of interest in the past decade. Healthy skin relies on the body’s ability to grow new cells and discard dead ones. CBD can manipulate the endocannabinoid system which helps regulate the life cycle of cells for more radiant, youthful skin.”
After months of trial and error, the “super” ingredients include Marine Collagen, Rosehip Oil, Argan Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin B3, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, and CBD. Each ingredient provides unique properties that work together to hydrate, protect and regenerate the skin. After months of research on the benefits of CBD, Czubiak added it as one of the main ingredients, and one that differentiates this product from the others on the market. She found it works best as an antioxidant and is said to be even more powerful than Vitamin C, E, A, and omega 3 fatty acids.
“I want to bring awareness to the benefits CBD can provide in skin care.”
Cannabinoid receptors are located throughout the skin, the bodies largest organ, making CBD a possible therapy for a range of skin conditions, including but not limited to dry skin, eczema and acne. “I want to bring awareness to the benefits CBD can provide in skin care. This is a product I would love to see accepted in the mainstream beauty industry, not necessarily in the marijuana market. I’ve always been passionate about my skin, this product is the most authentic and special to me thus far,” says Czubiak.
Czubiak is also known for her invaluable efforts made in the medical marijuana industry over the last five years with her company Punch Edibles, available in California.
While it has taken time for the brand to become established, it’s finally at a place where it can see the success from its products. At this time the company services more than 300 shops up and down the California coast. “We are in a good place right now and are getting ready for this transitional period in California with licensure. We plan on continuing to be one of the lead edible companies in the California market as well as expanding into other legal states” says Czubiak.
PunchBars come packaged as PunchBar 225 mg (25 flavors), PunchBar 150 mg (10 flavors) and the Punch C90 that contains 90mg of CBD and 0% THC. Each square is dosed out into 25 mg (10 mg for the C-90), making it easy for any user, new or experienced to consume appropriately. Each PunchBar only has 39 calories and 4g of sugar per serving, making it a go-to for diabetics and health-conscious patients. Czubiak describes the edibles as, “little chocolates that are creating a big splash in this soon-to-be billion-dollar industry.”
